Your Weekly Hug - 10.17.2022 Positive Inspiration for Your Week

Welcome to your Monday Hug!
Today, I invite you to spend the next 3.5 minutes with me to hear a special inspirational message from the Hugs devotional. It's here to inspire and help guide you through the rest of your week!

And after the video finishes, you’re encouraged to take a few moments to sit quietly and reflect on what you heard.

And if you want to gift someone an olive wood door rosary found in the video, click here.

Blessings to you as you prepare for the week ahead!

Hugs,
Kathleen

Embracing the Simple Life

Proclaim the Message with intensity; keep on your watch. Challenge, warn, and urge your people. Don’t ever quit. Just keep it simple. - 2 Timothy 4:2

Is yours a life of moderation or accumulation? Are you more interested in possessions you can acquire or in the person you can become?

Ours is a highly complicated society, a place where people and corporations vie for your attention, for your time, and for your dollars. Don’t let them succeed in complicating your life!

If your material possessions are somehow distancing you from God, discard them. If your outside interests leave you too little time for your family, slow down the merry-go-round, or better yet, get off. Simplify your life by stripping away unnecessary possessions and obligations. Simple living is sweet.

“For fast-acting relief, try slowing down.” - Lily Tomlin
