Traveler’s and car rosaries offer a quiet invitation to pray during daily commutes, long trips, and all the miles in between.

Made by Hand. Prayed Over With Care.

Each Knots of Grace rosary is hand-knotted in Georgia using strong, durable cord sourced primarily from USA-based, Veteran-owned businesses. The materials are chosen for real life. These rosaries are meant to be held, carried, traveled with, and returned to again and again. As I complete each rosary, I pray for the person who will eventually receive it — even though I may never know that person’s name or what they are carrying.

How Knots of Grace Began

Hi! I’m Kathleen, the founder and maker behind Knots of Grace.

Years ago, I discovered a simple, one-decade rosary made by a woman from a local parish. Instead of being stored in a drawer, it hung directly on our door.

During rushed mornings and ordinary days, that rosary became a quiet, visible reminder to pause and invite Christ into the moment. Its presence helped rekindle my own faith and showed me that prayer could become part of daily life again.

When its original maker retired, I felt called to continue the craft. Knots of Grace was born in 2014, although I didn’t yet understand exactly where that invitation would lead.

Over time, as I made rosaries and heard the stories of the people who received them, the deeper mission of Knots of Grace became clear:

Meet busy Christians where they are — offering a simple, everyday invitation to prayer — trusting Mary to lead each heart to the peace and protection found in Jesus.

A Legacy of Quiet Service

In 2016, my father-in-law, Bill Borsh, joined Knots of Grace as our Chief Knot Tyer.

Bill was a Marine veteran who brought a love of tying knots, a desire to help, and a commitment of quality to his work. For nearly nine years, he helped prepare cord and tie the knots that became part of thousands of rosaries.

He continued this quiet service until shortly before his passing on Memorial Day 2025.

Bill’s legacy remains part of the Knots of Grace story - in the standards he helped me maintain, in our continued support of Veteran-owned suppliers, and in the belief that small acts offered with love can carry grace farther than we may ever see.
