Hello! Welcome to Your Weekly Hug!
Today, I invite you to spend the next 3.5+ minutes with me to hear a special inspirational message from the Hugs devotional. It's here to inspire and help guide you through the rest of your week!
And after the video finishes, you’re encouraged to take a few moments to sit quietly and reflect on what you heard.
If you'd like to learn more about the Natural Wood Bead St Benedict Paracord Door Rosary that is hanging on the doorknob behind Kathleen in the video, click here.
Blessings to you as you prepare for the week ahead!
Give Me Patience, Lord … Now!
Knowing God leads to self-control. Self-control leads to patient endurance, and patient endurance leads to godliness. - 2 Peter 1:6
Are you a woman in a hurry? If so, you may be in for a few disappointments. Why? Because life has a way of unfolding according to its own timetable, not yours. That’s why life required patience - and lots of it!
Lamentations 3:25 reminds us that “the Lord is wonderfully good to those who wait for him and seek him” (NLT). But for most of us, waiting quietly is difficult because we’re in such a hurry for things to happen.
The next time you find your patience tested to the limit, slow down, take a deep breath, and relax. Sometimes life can’t be hurried - and during those time patience is indeed a priceless virtue.
“The key to everything is patience. You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it.” - Ellen Glasgow
