Maintenance: Keep the wood from drying over the years by simply applying a little oil to it. Any oil (even olive or vegetable oil in the kitchen) will do the trick!
Need to wash the rope? You can submerge it in soapy water and hang it to dry. Not recommended to wash in a dishwasher or washing machine.
