The Power of Optimism

My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to You. - Psalm 71:23

Your thoughts are the things that determine the direction of your day and your life. How will you direct your thoughts today? Will you focus on your fears and your disappointments, or will you focus on the innumerable blessings that God, in His wisdom, has seen fit to bestow upon you?

God created you in His own image, and He wants you to experience joy and abundance. To that end He has given you a wide array of talents and opportunities. It's up to you to cultivate those talents and seize those opportunities-and optimistic thoughts will help you do so.

Today and every day celebrate the life God has given you. Think optimistically about yourself and your future. Give thanks to the one who has given you everything, and trust in your heart that He wants to give you much more.
