Hello! Welcome to Your Weekly Hug!
Today, I invite you to spend the next ~3.5 minutes with me to hear a special inspirational message from the Hugs devotional. It's here to inspire and help guide you through the rest of your week!
And after the video finishes, you’re invited to take a few moments to sit quietly and reflect on what you heard.
If you'd like to learn more about the Door Rosary that is hanging on the doorknob behind Kathleen in the video, click here.
May Christ's peace be with you as you prepare for the week ahead! Please know I'm praying for you!
The Problem Solver
"People who do what is right may have many problems. But the Lord will solve them all." - Psalm 34:19
In 1967 a diving accident left young Joni Eareckson a quadriplegic. But she didn’t give up on life. Unable to use her hands, she taught herself to paint fine art by holding a brush between her teeth. Then the determined woman began writing. To date she’s completed more than thirty books, and her ministry, Joni and Friends, touches the lives of millions.
The next time you face a difficult day or an unexpected challenge, remember Joni’s journey. If she could meet her challenges, you can meet yours with the same courage and determination. Take heart, trust, and remember that no problem is too big for God.
“If we have no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.” - Anne Bradstreet
