Your Monday Hug Devotion for July 14, 2025: God is Love
Welcome to this week’s Monday Hug Devotion!
This week, we’re invited to rest in one powerful truth: God is Love.
Not just loving. Not just kind. Love itself.
And that love is already surrounding you - in every breath, every moment, every challenge and joy.
- You don’t have to earn it.
- You don’t have to be perfect.
- You simply need to open your heart and receive what is already being poured out.
In this week’s reflection, you’ll find:
- A reminder that God’s love is present, constant, and perfect
- Encouragement to see yourself as deeply and preciously loved
- An invitation to pause, give thanks, and rest in God’s embrace
Take a few quiet moments today to thank God for His unwavering love — no matter what season you're in.

Note: This week’s video devotion originally aired in 2021 - yet its message still holds true today.
Start Monday with an inspirational message that can help guide you through the rest of your week!
After the short video message, we encourage you to take a few moments to sit quietly and reflect on what you heard.
Blessings to you as you prepare for the week ahead!
Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us!
God is Love
God is love. It's a sweeping statement, a profoundly important description of what God is and how He works. God's love is perfect. When we open our hearts to His perfect love, we are touched by the Creator's hand, and we are transformed.
Barbara Johnson observed, "We cannot protect ourselves from trouble, but we can dance through the puddles of life with a rainbow smile, twirling the only umbrella we need - the umbrella of God's love."
English mystical writer Juliana of Norwich said, "We are so preciously loved by God that we cannot even comprehend it. No created being can ever know how much and how sweetly and tenderly God loves them."
Today, even if you can only carve out a few quiet moments, offer sincere prayers of thanksgiving to your Father. Thank Him for His blessings and love.

I truly understood your comments this week, sometimes we just expect too much from ourselves. We sometimes need to slow down and realize that we are not perfect and can’t always do all that we set out to do. God does understand and knows what we are capable of. Slow and steady will get us where we need to be.
Hope you have a wonderful week!
