A Place for Your Cross – Finger Rosary

A small place to bring what you’re carrying and remember you don’t have to carry it alone.

A Place for Your Cross is a compact one-decade finger rosary made with smooth, abacus-style acrylic beads and an open-design silver-tone cross — a tangible reminder to turn to prayer and draw comfort from your Catholic faith. The design began with a simple thought: looking at the open center of the cross and imagining placing my own burdens there - giving them to Jesus instead of holding onto everything myself. That little image brought me back to one of the Scripture passages that always gives me a sense of peace:

“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.” - Matthew 11:28

What Makes It Special

The open-style cross is what gives this little rosary its meaning. Its light, airy design creates an open space at the center - almost like an invitation to place whatever cross you are carrying there in prayer. A worry. A difficult decision. Someone you love. Something you simply cannot fix on your own.

It’s a reminder that prayer gives us a place to bring those things - a place to be held, a place to be prayed over, and a place to remember that we do not have to carry everything by ourselves. The acrylic beads are arranged in an abacus-style design, allowing them to move along the cord as you pray and helping you keep your place through a decade of the Rosary.
