05.20.2024 - YOUR WEEKLY HUG - POSITIVE INSPIRATION FOR YOUR WEEK

Happy Monday, my friend,

Today, we're celebrating the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, a guiding light in a world full of challenges.

Life's journey isn't always smooth sailing, but it's during the tough times that we're reminded to embrace resilience and share joy, just as Mary did.

In this spirit, I want to share this week's uplifting hug video. Simply scroll down, click the video and let the warmth of this 7-minute inspiration fill your heart.

As you watch, let the gentle reminder of our Knots of Grace rosaries deepen your connection with Mary's unwavering example of strength and compassion. And don't forget to take a few moments after you watch to sit quietly with God and reflect on what was shared.

Wishing you a week filled with grace and resilience,
Kathleen

The Right Kind of Example

Set an example of good works yourself, with integrity and dignity in your teaching. - Titus 2:7

Born in 1860, Jane Addams was a tireless worker for social change. By the time she won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1931, many considered her to be America's most prominent woman. This exemplary woman believed, "Our future is determined by the home and the school. The child becomes largely what he is taught, so we must watch what we teach, and how we live."

Jane understood that at home, work, or school, our actions always speak far more loudly than our words. So if you want to make your mark on the world, talk less and do more. You may not win a Nobel Prize, but you will win the hearts and minds of family, friends, coworkers, and just as importantly, you'll win approval from yourself.

"Life is not easy for any of us. But it is a continual challenge, and it is up to us to be cheerful and to be strong, so that those who depend on us may draw strength from our example." - Rose Kennedy

Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!
