An Imperfect and Wonderful Life

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair. - 2 Corinthians 4:8

In the 1950s Annette Funicello was the most glamorous member of television’s The Mikey Mouse Club. After the club closed its TV doors, she went on to star in a string of Disney movies. But Annette’s star shone most brightly thirty years after she hung up her Mickey Mouse ears - when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Discussing her illness, Annette said, “Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful.” We should take her courageous words to heart. Whether life has thrown you a curve ball or you’re just having a tough day take a tip from Annette and remember that it’s a wonderful life. Even during the toughest times, you’ll see that your blessings are still too numerous to count.
