Sharing Your Talents

There are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. - 1 Corinthians 12:4-5

God has given you an array of talents, and He has given you unique opportunities to share those talents with the world. Now it's your job to use those talents and to use them well.
The saying is both familiar and true: "What you are is God's gift to you; what you become is your gift to God." The implication is clear: you must strive to make the most of your own God-given talents.
Today make this promise to yourself: vow to share your talents as a gift to your family, to your friends, and to the world. And remember: the best way to say thank you for God's gifts is to use them.

"Whether we are poets or parents or teachers or artists or gardeners, we must start where we are and use what we have. In the process of creation and relationship, what seems mundane and trivial may show itself to be holy, precious, part of a pattern." - Luci Shaw

Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!
