Your Weekly Hug - 10.31.2022 Positive Inspiration for Your Week

Happy Monday!

Today, I invite you to spend the next 3.5 minutes with me to hear a special inspirational message from the Hugs devotional. It's here to inspire and help guide you through the rest of your week!

And after the video finishes, you’re encouraged to take a few moments to sit quietly and reflect on what you heard.

Blessings to you as you prepare for the week ahead!

Hugs,
Kathleen

Time for Family

Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. - Psalm 127:1

Caring for your family requires time - lots of time. You’ve probably heard about “quality time” and “quantity time.” Your family needs both, and you willingly invest large quantities of your time and energy in the care and nurturing of your clan.

Still, these are difficult days for every household: never have distractions and temptations been greater. Thankfully, God is bigger than all those challenges. So while you’re caring for your family, do your best to ensure that God remains squarely at the center of your family life. When you do, God will bless you and yours in ways you haven’t even imagined.

“The miraculous thing about being a family is that in the last analysis, we are each dependent on one another and God, woven together by mercy given and mercy received.” - Barbara Johnson
