06.17.2024 - YOUR WEEKLY HUG - POSITIVE INSPIRATION FOR YOUR WEEK

Hi my friend, Happy Monday!

I've been thinking a lot about how to live my life fully and honor the gifts that God has given me each day. Some days are easier than others, right?

Last week, I had the honor of being a guest on the Seven Mile Chats podcast with Julia Strukely. We talked about one of my favorite Bible verses, Matthew 7:7, and she asked me an intriguing question about balancing the things I ask for in prayer.

This question got me thinking beyond just what I ask for in prayer to how I balance my days that are filled with determination and productivity with the days where all I want to do is watch TV or scroll mindlessly.

How can I honor God's gift of life while embracing both types of days? Is it possible? Can you relate to this struggle?

Once you watch today's devotion, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Please share in the comments below or send me a message at hello@knotsofgrace.com. Your insights mean a lot to me, and I'd love to hear from you.

Wishing you a blessed week ahead!

Warm hugs,
Kathleen

P.S. To help keep the inspiration alive, I shared the stunning pocket rosary, Jesus and His Angels Pocket Rosary, in the video that serves as a great reminder to trust God without reservation each day.

Abundant Living

Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses. - Luke 12:15

She never had an art lesson in her life, but at the age of seventy-six Anna Mary Robertson, known as Grandma Moses, took up painting. A busy woman throughout adulthood, she embroidered wool pictures on canvas as a hobby.

But when her fingers became too stiff to handle a needle, Anna didn't quit - she just began painting. Her colorful country scenes now hang in museums all over the world.

Grandma Moses once said, "Life is what we make it. Always has been. Always will be." She backed up her words with actions. So should we.

You, like Anna Mary Robertson, are a woman with the opportunity to fully engage in life. Seize that opportunity today- and keep seizing it every day you live.

"Live your life while you have it. Life is a splendid gift. There is nothing small about it." - Florence Nightingale

Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!
