Welcome to your Monday Hug!
Today, I invite you to spend the next 3.5+ minutes with me to hear a special inspirational message from the Hugs devotional. It's here to inspire and help guide you through the rest of your week!
And after the video finishes, I welcome you to take a few moments to sit quietly and reflect on what you heard.
If you'd like to learn more about the Door Rosary that is hanging on the doorknob behind Kathleen in the video, click here.
Let peace be with you as you prepare for the week ahead! Please know I'm praying for you!
Becoming a Star
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. - Proverbs 16:3
In 1955 the Fulton Theater in New York was renamed the Helen Hayes Theater in honor of a unique woman who had, at the time, already spend fifty wonderful years on stage.
Ms. Hayes once advised, “Aim for achievement, and forget about success.” Her advice was sound. If we spend too much time fretting over success, we won't spend enough time doing the things that ultimately make us successful.
So if you want to see your name up in lights, don’t worry too much about who’s getting top billing. Just play your role to the best of your ability, and while you’re at it, don’t worry too much about the critics - after all, if you’re giving it your best effort, you’re already a star.
“Success is within your grasp. If you believe it is possible, you can make it happen.” - Beatryce Nivens
